  • IMG 2488 Soon, we were both stripped down to T-shirts - and finally comfortable.
  • IMG 2491 An RMI party coming down from the summit. They were all kinda bummed because they missed summiting because of Avalanche danger.
  • 4a We ended up bumping into them later when we had lunch at Copper Creek Inn in Ashford. It was kinda cool listening to their war stories.

  • IMG 2502 Clouds came in when we were finally up near the base of Panorama Point. They were coming in fast, so we decided to turn around. The safest alternative. And anyway, it's not that fun hiking in the fog.
  • DSC 1191 This is about where we turned around - right at the base of Panorama Point.
  • DSC 1192 The snow as all sparkly that day. It shows a little in this photo...
  • DSC 1193 Going down was a whole lot easier than going up.
